Welcome to Week Two of your Inner Work Journey!
Step 2: Reflect on Each Area
Start by writing today’s date but reflect on where you were exactly one year ago. Reflect deeply on how you felt, what your daily life looked like, the challenges or triumphs you were experiencing, and any significant events or decisions that influenced your state in each area. Consider the circumstances, relationships, routines, or external factors that shaped your experiences during that time.
Mentally
What thoughts, beliefs, or mindset were you carrying at the time?
Were you feeling clear and focused, or overwhelmed and uncertain?
Did you feel mentally strong, or were you struggling with doubt or negativity?
Physically
What was your physical state like a year ago?
Did you feel energized, strong, or healthy? Or were you experiencing fatigue, illness, or challenges with self-care?
Consider your environment—where were you living or spending most of your time?
Spiritually
How connected did you feel to a sense of purpose, your intuition, or a higher power?
Were you practicing any spiritual rituals or engaging in activities that nurtured your soul?
Did you feel in alignment with your core values?
Emotionally
What emotions were most present for you a year ago?
Were you happy, content, and fulfilled? Or were you dealing with stress, sadness, or uncertainty?
How did you handle your emotions at that time?
Step 3: Compare to Today
After writing about each area, take a moment to reflect on where you are today.
Write a brief comparison for each category. Ask yourself:
What has changed?
What has improved?
What remains a challenge?
Step 4: Celebrate Your Growth
Identify at least one area where you’ve experienced growth, even if it feels small.
Acknowledge and celebrate the progress you’ve made, regardless of where you currently are.
Step 5: Set an Intention
Based on your reflection, set an intention for the year ahead. What’s one thing you’d like to focus on improving or maintaining in each area?
